Welcome to the Ickham & Well Parish Council website. Here you will find details of your local councillors, the minutes from the monthly parish meetings and information about local issues, events and other matters of interest occurring in all parts of the parish.

The minutes from the Parish Council meetings can be accessed here. The next parish council meeting is the APCM, (at which the previous year’s accounts will be agreed and council appointments made, among other things), on 23rd April at 7.30 pm in the village hall. The APM (Annual Public Meeting at which the council and other organisations will report on the past year) will be held on 21st May.

The Parish Council are recruiting a new Parish Clerk . This is an interesting job and a chance to get involved with community affairs. If you think that it might suit you, please click here for more information.

Temporary closure of part of Grove Road near Linton House is planned for Sunday 22nd April 2018 between 8.00 am and approximately 4.00 pm. There will be no access between the junctions with Stodmarsh Road and Grove Ferry Road.

With the recent high winds that may have caused damage to electricity lines, anyone experiencing a power cut should:
· Call 105 to report power cuts and damage to the electricity network, or 0800 3163 105 (from a corded phone or mobile phone if you have no power);
· Visit www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk for the latest updates;
· Visit www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/powercut and type in their postcode to view the live power cut map;
· Tweet @ukpowernetworks to report a power cuts or to receive updates.
People are advised to stay clear of power lines and report damaged power lines immediately by calling 105 free from either a landline or a mobile phone. If you see electricity lines that are down or causing significant risk to the public call 999.
